The Lighter Side of Darkness

What is light and can light exist without darkness? Or is light just the absence of darkness? Can light exist inside darkness, and if so would not light and darkness be of the same divine source?

Most of creation is limited to the boundaries of the physical dimension yet light and darkness seem to defy the laws of physical creation. Both can be seen but never touched.

All of creation is dependent on the elements of creation for the cycle of life to continue, a harmony of intricate design. Yet light and darkness only need each other to serve their divine purpose. When the light fades darkness is already knocking at the door ready to serve  a purpose until the light returns again.

So, does light serve darkness or does darkness serve light? Or do they exist together to serve their divine purpose?

Consider the green herb, the beautiful flower or the towering oak, they adsorb the lights energy during the day only to do their growing in the darkness of the night. The natural created world has mastered the immense power of both light and darkness, the very cycles of life depend on them.

Is mankind not both physical and spiritual? Have we only understood the physical dimension and not the spiritual?

If only we could have the faith of a blade of grass, storing up the spiritual light of the day that we might shine in our darkest hour of the night.
