I Watched a Fly Die Tonight

I watched a fly die tonight
Truly a terrible sight

Wings frantically buzzing
Trying to make flight

I cheered with all my might!
Come on fly just take flight!

Dont you see your death is nigh
Summon all your created might

Please fly take one last flight
Before you land for your very last night

I watched a fly die tonight
A cruel ending to what  was a beautiful sight

Death To Life

Consider this, what is death?
Is death simply the end of mortal man when his earthly body ceases to function? Can death bring peace to a decaying body or is death but a cruel end to the struggle to live on?

Perhaps death can be seen as one who is approaching the finish line of life. For some it is a quick sprint and for others it is a long endurance race but at the end of the race we all cross that same finish line. How is it that man can race towards the finish line knowing that death awaits him? All that this life had to offer him lies between conception and death.

For some, death will be their final finish line. But for those who choose life, death is just simply an end to the race we call life. The saints will rest, awaiting the day when their spirits will arise to put on a garment of immortality.

For the saints death has no more victory, for what was once decaying is now everlasting. So run your race well, and know that your creator will decide where he will lay your final finishing line called death.

For those who have run the race may your sleep be peaceful until the day the trumpet sounds, and the voice of the mighty one calls each to receive his crown. Arise my good and faithful servant the day of your victory has come!

The Lighter Side of Darkness

What is light and can light exist without darkness? Or is light just the absence of darkness? Can light exist inside darkness, and if so would not light and darkness be of the same divine source?

Most of creation is limited to the boundaries of the physical dimension yet light and darkness seem to defy the laws of physical creation. Both can be seen but never touched.

All of creation is dependent on the elements of creation for the cycle of life to continue, a harmony of intricate design. Yet light and darkness only need each other to serve their divine purpose. When the light fades darkness is already knocking at the door ready to serve  a purpose until the light returns again.

So, does light serve darkness or does darkness serve light? Or do they exist together to serve their divine purpose?

Consider the green herb, the beautiful flower or the towering oak, they adsorb the lights energy during the day only to do their growing in the darkness of the night. The natural created world has mastered the immense power of both light and darkness, the very cycles of life depend on them.

Is mankind not both physical and spiritual? Have we only understood the physical dimension and not the spiritual?

If only we could have the faith of a blade of grass, storing up the spiritual light of the day that we might shine in our darkest hour of the night.

What is Love?

Consider this, What is Love?

There appears to me that there exists but two kinds of Love, one Love as seen through the dim eyes of the world and the other Love as seen through the eyes of our creator.

Consider this, what is the definition of love according to the world? To me it appears the Love of the world is but a compass without direction or purpose, it is a Love with ever changing morals.

If Love received does not direct one back to a sure moral standard then it can only return the way it came, and that is a Love that is empty of purpose.

Consider this, if Love can change the world then why hasn't the world changed?

How can a judge serve justice if he has no sure standard to judge by? How can man properly Love his neighbor if he does not first Love his creator?

If Love does not have a sure nail to hang on it will certainly fall to the ground, empty of purpose and found wanting.

Be sure that the Love first delivered by our creator is a Love that can change the world!

I Had A Dream

I had a dream I did not totally understand
It was about the future of a very young man

A mere infant yet so large not knowing that
one day he would lead a great charge

His shoulders were wide and his countenance strong
Little did he know that one day he would lead a great throng

Born with a purpose not fully understood
But with certainty that it's all for mans good

So young man of God play while you may because the
day of our hope is not far away

So play with your ball and scrape your knee but
know that our hope is within thee

Chosen from birth he called you to help bring peace on earth

With a purpose you were created
On your shoulders are the hopes of all who have waited

Dear Grandma

Dear Grandma

I must inform you that the reason my belly is so round is because you always leave cookies laying around

I love coming to your place Grandma
First to see your smiling face and then to see what kind of cookies await!

With a great roar I head straight for the little white drawer

I retrieve a handful of cookies hoping that mom and dad are not looking

Oh Grandma you must of heard my roar because I see you refilled the little white drawer

I hate leaving you alone Grandma but mom and dad say its time to go home

But remember Grandma just listen for the roar and you will know that's its time to refill the little white drawer

Breathe

Consider, what is the purpose of man to breathe?

Is it merely to sustain life to these mortal bodies? For every breath taken will only cause man to extend his life into a world that is suffocating.

Perhaps the purpose of mankind is to breathe life into a world that will soon be consumed by fire!
The breath of a mortal man can only fan the flames of destruction, but the breath of the saints can renew what is quickly decaying.

A Poem For Zendaya

What a terrible day I said
This day I will not even leave my bed

This world is cruel I said
I feel heaviness and dread

What is the purpose of me leaving this bed
When all hope feels dead

Then I heard a little voice cry
Come on Grandpa you must try!

I summoned all my might
I heeded the command that was surely right

Come on Grandpa you must try!
Please Grandpa don't make me cry

So I reached for the little hand of the one
who gave the great command
Come On Grandpa you must try!

The sun has risen and it's time you leave
your little prison

Come on Grandpa lets go have some fun!
Ready! Set! I'm about to run!

Don't let your little Zendaya cry
Please Grandpa, Please Grandpa
You must try!
